Do you want to be a hero and help keep your community connected during a disaster? Take the first steps toward learning what you need to know to earn your entry level FCC Amateur Radio License, supported by the Acadiana Amateur Radio Association, Pugh Family Foundation and the CMA. Some of the activities at Ham Camp include learning to operate an amateur radio, learning radio communication skills and call sign collection through relays and contests. Campers will even be able to build their own AM radio! |

 Campstruction June 10- 14
Beginners Camp (5- 8 years): 9am- 12pm
Intermediate Camp (9- 12 years): 2- 5pm
Price: $115 non-members/$105 members
Calling all future Engineers...The CMA's Campstruction is here to allow your child's creative mind to run free. Campers will create catapults, robots and other projects to blow their minds. At the end of camp campers will showcase their innovative creations for all to see! |

Messy Media Camp
June 17- 21
4- 6 years: 9- 11am
Price: $90 non-members/$80 members
Busy day and errands to run? While you are out and about kids will be able to play, create and get as messy as they want! All kids will be under the supervision of an instructor and camp counselors. All kid's will be served a healthy snack during their time at the museum. |

 Jewelry CampJune 24- 28
Beginners Camp (5- 8 years): 9am- 12pm

Do you have a fashion designer in the works at your house? During the CMA's Jewelry Camp kids will learn the different types of design and construction of jewelry under the supervision of the CMA's Creative Director Jo Ellen Breakfield. Campers will create many different styles of jewelry and will even hand make their own beads. Campers will have a new set of jewelry to call their own "master pieces” that they can wear every day! At the end of camp campers will put their creations on display like a true designer. |

 Mural Painting CampJuly 8- 12
8- 12 years: 9am- 12pm
Price: $115 non-members/$105 members
Allow your kids to put their mark on downtown at the CMA's first Mural Painting Camp! Campers will have fun while learning the elements and principles of design and the different types of murals that can be created for inside and outside. Kids will create their own work and collaborate together to create a mural that will hang at the CMA for all to see! This camp is sure to impress! |
