The CMA's After Christmas List

Christmas came early this year for the CMA when the Lafayette High School Beta Club donated a sack full of presents that will be put to great use around the Museum! The CMA wouldlike to give a big thank you for the supplies donated: 8,244 sheets of construction paper, 624 ounces of Karo Syrup, 598 ounces of Joy Ultra, 168 glue sticks, more than 50 boxes of plastic bags and 16 packs of yarn! With their doantion we are able to continue to offer unique, memorable experiences for the children and families of Acadiana.

Even though the holidays have come and gone, we always have our own wish list. Small simple items help bring our many ideas for crafts and exhibits to life. What to help the CMA? Currently, the museum is in need of Elmer's glue (sticks and liquid), pipe cleaners, pom poms, water color paper, colored pencils, cardstock, Q-tips, cotton balls, towels and gift cards to other craft stores always come in handy! Donations can be dropped off at the Museum's front desk. Your support is greatly appreciated and helps to further the Museum's misssion of "Learning by Doing." Thanks for lending a hand!
